  1. Phillip says Play It!

This is a pretty nice implementation of a simple idea.

The setting looks good but as with so many Guildhall releases it’s more of a portfolio piece than something that would stand alone. It would have been nicer if the level was larger but that’s not the point of a portfolio piece.

The puzzles are not hard and do not require any particular jumping or shooting skills.

The final puzzles was definitely the best and functioned almost as a boss level.

Try playing at a higher difficulty level than you normally do.

    Indiana Jones would be proud

  2. Play It Later

There are a few original puzzles, although they are very easy so a bit boring. It looks alright, has a nice little story/goal. It’s short but as Phillip says, it’s a guildhall release and thats not the reason they make these. Play it later.

  3. What does “guildhall” mean?

    1. Guildhall is a video game development program at the Southern Methodist University. I have posted 80% of the creations, the other 20% haven’t released their creations. They make lots of portfolio levels for a variety of games and game modes.

    Play It Later

Well another quick one that worths the effort, I mean I don’t know why this releases were not on Grav Gun comp. maybe they never meant to be on that event, but the grav gun is the main element of this one and the past mod post on PP.

As Phillip said this was very guidhall entry, and you can feel that, the puzles are not hectic or complicated at all, in fact there are maybe way too many clues of how to solve it.

Anyway play it latter and now is the perfect time for that due to the lack of main releases, play it if you end G-String, or if u are enough oft that mod by now 🙂

  5. Play It Now!

For a puzzle mod this was OK and yet another coffee break length one from the SMU!

It looked a little like Quake (1) and not too difficult, but overall a fun 5 minutes worth of gameplay. The last puzzle/part was a little too long, as once you’ve figured what to do all it does is extend the length of the game.

I don’t usually like puzzle Maps/Mods, but because this is so short I actually enjoyed it.

  6. Play It Now!

A very short but fun little series of puzzles. It would have been nice if they were a little more difficult with more of them, but it is still worth the download

  7. Tried to like this one, but during the puzzle with the holes there was too much noise and interruption to listen for the drop of a stone! I tried a few times but got too annoyed to continue!
I did enjoy pulling the antlions through their bars and killing them with the super gravgun, but me and this mod did not get on..
As someone said earlier, it does look and feel very retro.
I hope dog got his spark back……

  8. Play It Now!

I wasn’t going to play this, due to gamers fatigue, but I’m really glad I did.

I love maps that utilize the super gravity gun. The very feeling of exploding an antlion simply with electric energy is fantastic. But aside from that, this map had some really great concepts. Albeit short, the puzzles designed throughout were fun and interactive. They were easy too… but really I didn’t feel the map needed to be much longer. It had a simple plot, retrieve “Dog’s spark” by battling and navigating yourself through a temple of puzzles.

Overall I quite enjoyed the map.

  9. Play It Now!

another little short morsel that was quite enjoyable. nice puzzle concepts that could be used in future maps/mods with some added difficulty. it had a nice flow thru and objective.

  10. Play It Now!

A fun and different puzzler with light antlion combat. Towards the end there were some barnacles that seemed unkillable, even with the super gravgun, which made getting snagged by one and eaten kind of irritating.

    1. Yeah I’m getting the same 🙁

  11. Darth_Sylph

    Dog’s…..Spark? so…he’s suddenly a Transformer?

  12. Play It Now!

I love this map! Nice concept and fun puzzles.

  13. Play It Later

I really like the idea. Not a fan of puzzle maps. Has that temple of doom feel. Add a whip and I can be had.
