The aptly named LVL2 simply asked authors to make a sequel to a previous Map Labs map. That’s it!

The turnout was a solid 11 maps, enjoy these sequels! And be sure to go back and play the original maps if you missed them!

Manual Installation Instructions
  • Make sure you have the Upcoming branch of the Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer installed in Steam and run at least once. (Properties – Betas – select upcoming from the dropdown list).
  • Copy the lvl2, mapbase_shared, mapbase_hl2, and mapbase_episodic folders into your SourceMods folder.
  • Restart or start Steam.
  • LVL2 should now be listed in your Library tab.

    Well, my saves were f*cked up after I played Craig Thorne 2… IDK if this has to do with having installed Crossfire and Two Rooms simultaneously.

    Please help, how can I solve this issue, I pres “F6” and it apparently appears “saved” on the screen but then “F9” doesn’t load anything and It also does not appear as any saved game on the load sub-menu…

    How can I solve this, this happened with the underground power entry. And apparently, all entries are also unable to be saved and loaded.

      Well, nevermind, it seems that “Power Down Underground by aaaaaaa, sequel to Urban Scramble in Crossfire” is faulty and it couldn’t save, only this and the Craig Entry are f*cked up regarding saves…

    Maybe?

    Ok, so, maybe this recommendation would be higher than a dull “Maybe?” but it is the 1st one that actually brought me trouble regarding some technical mishaps…

    So that stated, the following entries: “Power Down Underground” and “Shortfire 2” literally had fcked up save, with power down not saving at all and at times just kicking to desktop, and Shortfire also with some broken quick saves that once you pressed “F6” kick you out to desktop. So yeah that wasn’t very pleasant and just stained this map lab.

    Then I had to add the Craig Thorne 2 entry also was unable to save it, and once you attempted to do it the whole trigger code just broke up and kicked you out to the desktop.

    The rest of the entries were nice sequels with the temple one being cool to play and much better than the 1st one, and also Cold Hard Steele 2 was amazing and I hope the author just releases it as a stand-alone with all the parts 1 to 3 together.

    Purgatory BTW was also amazing and is far much better than other horror releases lately launched, I also hope the author dares to release it as a whole mod along with the 1st short part.

    The rest of the entries were OK to play and entertaining but not that memorable.
