“This is the first level to a three part trilogy, where you start out in my part of the map. Once you get into the other house, you are in the part Nubecakes did – but we take no credit for the outdoor area as that part of the map was made by Valve….well the brushes anyway, the entities where done by Nubecakes.”

There is no real aim or fight in this map it’s almost a frightnening experience in a kind of doom flashing event…short without any gameplay. Mapping looks correct but not more
Huge graphical error (HOM) at the end. Outdoor part is a (modified) copy of the church area in Ravenholm. Sometimes confusing…
Well, the first part is not particularly scary – just lots of bodies, red lights, image flashes and screams – bit like the parties I used to go to as a teenager.
The second part takes you outside and as the readme says, the brushes are made by Valve, so it’s essentially a copy of a Ravenholm section and it’s not that much fun to play.
As I mention in my video, it’s been made by two people which is quite unusual in our community.
All in all, it wasn’t much fun to play but some may enjoy it, that’s why I say MAYBE.

Well, the first part was weird, a plus for it. A minus was that there was not any rhyme or reason to it.
The second part was a modified copy of a spot in Half-Life 2. Nothing was really added but some weirdness. The HOM at the end was something that we always tried to avoid in the first Doom days. So is this the end?
I might suggest that this is a practice or a first try. It was different for sure, so think about playing it.

Flashing red lights and weird sounds mean you are being scared I suppose. I didn’t like this map. It starts off inside and with the aforementioned lights/sounds and plenty of severed legs which only ever makes me think of “the pants were all dead”.
The outdoor area is definitely reminiscent of Ravenholm, but lo and behold according to the review above this was just lifted from the game. The script with the tower is cool but ultimately leads nowhere.
There is a hall of mirrors at the very end if you stick around after the screen goes black for about 30 seconds. This needs a lot of design and work if it’s ever going to become something worthwhile.

Didn’t get the intention of the game. Took awhile for the doors to allow me to open them, then i was cast into total darkness. I could hear myself walk but could see a thing. I’ll check back at a later date.

I really don’t know if these kind of maps are worthy to even be released. This possibly was way to “artsy” or something, maybe look for pure environmental horror scenario, but overall it was bland as hell.
I also really don’t think people would expect the second part after playing this boring attempt of doing a horror map.
I also relate the “It” title with the great Stephen King’s novel So maybe the only thing that could make this interesting is by adding some references to that novel, but I guess they’re totally unrelated. So, Avoid It.
