Cliffside Assault: Warehouse

for Half-Life 2

11th May 2008

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

A short but intense beta map of a warehouse on a cliffside. It was supposed to be part of something larger but it seems that something was never released.

  1. Phillip says Play It!

Even though this is a beta it is very, very unlikely it will ever be released in its finished form. It was released in 2005 and was supposed to be part of something larger. The tag I used for it is Beta Demo Unfinished, so it should be considered unfinished, rather than beta.

The action comes in waves and with a little thought the player can use the environment as a weapon. It’s pretty short and quite dark, although I played with the shutters open, so it’s not that dark.

The Combine could have been a bit smarter but that’s my only negative. Don’t expect a masterpiece but for 5 minutes play it is fun.

  2. Maybe?

I remenber this one short intense quite enjoyable if you like thaught combats

  3. No DL available. The one at FileFront says the file is “pending”. If you go back, it says the page was removed.

    1. Fixed, sorry for the delay.

  4. Maybe?

Whoa. Very short. But intense. You could probably replay this a few different ways.

I only don’t give it a PIL recommendation because it’s so short.

  5. Play It Later

This map needs to be rated Beta Demo Unfinished (more for unfinished). as Phil said
There are a lot of cool traps to kill the combines (only at the final wave) and only a poor, and useless rebel that will not survive (maybe in easy or medium can, I played this map at hard).
Giving this map a try is always a good choise.
    8/10
