I’m not a huge fan of Alt Mods, often I think it’s an excuse for not thinking through an idea.

In this one, you need to wander around until you are allowed to continue. There are two rooms to reach and you can’t cheat to get to them.

It was mildly interesting for 5 minutes.

FYI, there is no combat or action whatsoever.

    What…the…hell…was…that?

This is not a map. This is a mappers experiment with various entities in Hammer.

There is nothing fun here for players.

    At all…

To make it worse, the mapper didn’t even package it as a mod so if you install it you’re HL2 folders will be cluttered with a bunch of files that don’t even work in the map properly and are completely unnecessary.

    Avoid at all costs…

    1. so if you install it you’re HL2 folders will be cluttered with a bunch of files that don’t even work in the map properly

Unless you use MapTap, which avoids all of that.

      1. … this message was brought to you in association with MapTap.. for all your TapMapping needs!

    Avoid It!

This is a very wierd map, I mean I think I can’t even recommend it for a TT, indeed this map feels more like a thecnical experiment, is not spooky at all and overall I didn’t enjoy it, it felt more as a void map with some doors to get trough with a really stupid end.

    1. lol!lol!lol! I’ll avoid it!

    Interesting map.

First of all. the installation was a pain in the ASS. The files were all over the place and I still doubt that I deleted everything about the map.

Second, as mentioned by others, this is more like an experiment, which I find really interesting.

Of course, the textures were bland, and the lighting was random, but for this map in particular I think it’s an excuse (IMO).

Overall, It’s an interesting experiment, but if you’re more trigger happy, play something else.

    Play It Later.
