The Wraith 2: Conjuring

for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

20th October 2022

A ghost hunting horror map, the third place winner of the Hazardous Mapping Competition #4.

You play as a rookie ghost hunter, and you have got your first mission to clean a haunted house from a wraith.
There is a manual describing the conjuring process, which was left by an investigator, who has been to the house previously. Read it carefully and do exactly what it says, or there will be horrible consequences.

Where is “Hazardous Mapping Competition #4” ?

I can’t seem to find anything on it on this site. I googled it and found the 1st place and 3rd place winning maps on moddb but it’s as if this competition never existed. Can someone point me to the rest of it? Or where I can find the other maps?

    Thanks.

    1. It was a competition run by Radiation Hazard, you can find his channel on YouTube, there was a video about it. But the competition’s maps were not released anywhere, so that’s why I decided to promote the map a bit, since I didn’t want to leave it completely unnoticed.

Hey, thanks for the info on this. I was a bit curious. I just played through this map on stream earlier tonight and it was enjoyable even if it was a bit short. The ghost got me a few times! Thanks for the map!

    2. Oh, I just realized that I made a typo, the competition was called Hazardous Mapping Contest #4: Unexplained Horrors

Thanks! I didn’t realize it wasn’t part of this website but I appreciate the link.

Looking forward to the next stream!
