    Think Twice

This is one to avoid, it sets off so hard that I needed to Impulse 101, with just the crowbar I find it impossible to make any headway. You will need to impulse 101 again with the two following maps neither of which loads auto, there is no structured end to these maps not even a caption saying so, can it be that hard to add a caption?
In fairness to the author he has added a walkthrough to the files, if you intend to play this one then read it, you may then have a chance of getting through the first map without a cheat.

I think I will change the recommendation to a ‘think Twice” the inclusion of the WT makes this possible without cheats, although you will still need to manually load the 2nd and 3rd levels then impulse 101.

  2. Think Twice

This is a tough one to recommend, even for such an old map. Right from the start, the balance is completely broken. You start with nothing but a crowbar and you’re expected to take out assassins, the deadliest human enemy, in a wide open arena.

From there, you are pitted against HECU and the occasional zombie, but there’s not much challenge to it once you’ve gotten your shotgun and mp5.

The appearance of the map is basic, as is to be expected, but it seems even basic texture alignment is broken here, even by early Worldcraft standards.

  3. Avoid It!

You know the map will be bad when the readme tells you to cheat. Ugly map with lots of texture issues. Blocky and very little detail or even lighting. Boring combat, nothing to see here.

  4. Avoid It!

The first map is played with cheats. If you don’t use them you will never make it. If I would be him I would place stationary assassins and a crossbow at least this would make a good balance in the mod creation. Shotgun is near to be the worst weapons against assassins because you need to know exactly the assassin is not more or less. Even on Easy most of the times you won’t survive that situation. He could place only 2 assassins not 4. So he says extremly difficult. Way to go, so we now have to play extremly difficult mods. I could design mods like this myself. I put 100 soldiers and you manage them with only handgun, let’s see how extremly difficilt it would be.
