“You are Gordon Freeman once again. It’s several months after the Black Mesa incident and you are living in an isolated area of New Mexico.
You keep a few Xen creatures around for entertainment but, things are out of control.
It’s time to “clean up” around the house and go to the beach.
After that, your going to investigate a rumour the military has taken over the powerplant nearby. Then, it’s time for a cold one with your friends.”
You are a maintenance worker on space Colony 42.
Whilst fixing something, the communication room receives a transmission.
This transmissions leads to what seems to be an alien invasion.

After defeating the alien leader Nihilanth, you, Gordon Freeman, declined the mysterious G-Man’s offer of employment and narrowly escaped death at the hands of several alien grunts.
After battling your way through the Lambda Reactor Complex and realigning the antenna dish you were able to make contact with the outside world.
Word has spread of the strange events at Black Mesa and the government is attempting to coverup the truth by reporting “a terrorist plot to obtain U.S. military secrets has been uncovered at the Black Mesa Complex. After the exhaustive, confusing and deceitful experiences that you suffered during your first day at the Black Mesa Lab you finally arrive back on Earth. The mysterious man in the suit had left you little choice but to agree to his “offer” of joining the government department that he worked for. Without the knowledge of who, exactly these employers were, you nervously stepped into the teleporter.
On Earth you materialize in the “incoming” portal of your employers military station. Scientific work extends only to fulfil the military needs of your employer, but at least the workers include some familiar faces that put you at ease.
