Little Escape

for Opposing Force

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

Starting with the same basic scene as Opposing Force, you need to escape the base.

There’s a few areas you need to access before you can reach the portal.

Be careful, even your friends may be enemies.

Zombies

for Opposing Force

The marines have set up some defensive positions.

The zombies spawn and attack those positions.

Wander around, selecting the weapon of your choice and keep them at bay for as along as possible.

TREE: Opposing Force Podcast

As part of the The Replay Experience Experiment, here is the second of a number of podcasts, discussing one of the games we have played.

In this case, it’s for Opposing Force. Joining me for this one is Don. Don is a modder with tremendous experience and has released a number of mods/maps including, Radix.

We discuss Opposing Force from a number of different aspects.

Silent Escape

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

The Combine have discovered where you are hiding and things only get worse.

With your fellow rebels you must escape using a portal.

Did I mention things get worse? Well, they just get EVEN worse. The Portal worked but not as expected.

Keep the faith you will find your comrades and perhaps you will finally escape, although don’t count on it.

Campaign Part 1

A 3 mappack, that was supposed to be part of something larger.

Work your way through the research base, killing the zombies, headcrabs and houndeyes.

When you reach the scientist at the tram stop, it finishes just on the next map load.

Looks like you are on a space station or maybe it’s just the night view.

Who knows, or cares, just kill everything until you reach the oil tanker.

Take you time, this is quite a challenge.

Pinned down and weaponless, your objective is to stop those damn Combine Snipers!

Escape and freedom are just around the corner, or so it seems.

Under The Black Moon

Can you believe your luck? Travelling in a transport plane you get shot down!

You survive and things only get worse.

Work your way through the area into the base and do whatever you have to do to get picked up.

Take you time as the enemy has had plenty of time to prepare for your arrival (not that they were expecting YOU)

The Red Area

for Opposing Force

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

You start in The Red Area and must make your way to the escape aircraft.

Unfortunately, the aliens and army grunts don’t want you to get there.

Fortunately, you have enough weapons and ammo to disagree, most violently I might add, and do as you please.

Good luck, because this is a tough challenge!
