  1. Uhhh…something’s up with the ETC download link, and some of the comment images appear to be broken.

    1. Yeah, I tweeted about it. Going to try to solve it now.

      EDIT: Fixed, now.

  2. Awesome. I should definitely be able to catch both streams this weekend. 😀

Also, ETC! Hell yes. That’s one of the first mods I ever played on a PCGamer CD. Can’t remember anything about it besides moustaches… Seriously…

Maybe it takes place during Movember

  3. I’ll be here for the Level Design Academy! 🙂

  4. Unq

Hate to be pedantic, but the name is actually ETC, not Earthquake Test Centre. Not sure why Phillip changed the mod’s page and link.

    1. You are not being pedantic but I had to change it because the name was causing issues. I have no idea why that was but 3 letters seemed to be at fault. I’ll look for a longer term solution.

  5. I just spent almost entire day at setting up and fixing Face Poser just to find out I can’t use phonemes on my system, period. Marvelous Source modding ^^

    1. Did you try installing Varsity’s Phoneme Extractor? I’ve managed to make it work on Vista, 8.1 and 10.

      1. You can also see the tutorial on my web page, which has instructions for 8.1 and 10. I believe 10 may have actually moved stuff around since I wrote that, though.

        1. Yeah I know about this, one of my guidelines ^^
The problem is I can’t use Varsity;s Phonemes because it’s made for ‘english – UK’ speech recognition. And I can’t set up or install it. It’s only possibIe in Ultimate or Enterprise ver of Win7 and I have Professional.
The only speech recognition I have is english – US.
Why on earth Tom Edwards didn’t made this for ‘english- US’? I think it’s in every version of Windows, not like UK one.
Also I have SAPI 5.1 installed.

          1. I find that hard to accept because I had Vista Home and could set it up fine. As long as you have US copy of Windows, you should be able to put it in UK mode. Are you sure you can’t go Start -> Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Speech Recognition and then Advanced Speech Options?

            1. Yeah, I know it’s hard to accepts but it’s true. I have polish version of Win and it’s not supported by Speech Recognition, and I don’t have any options under that tab.
So yeah no legal option, thx Microsoft! 🙂
