  1. Phillip says Avoid It!

I’m sorry to say this is clearly a first map because it suffers from common elements; such as high ceilings, few light sources, badly placed enemies and little conceptual thought for realistic layout.

That said at least the author has made and released something, which is more than I have! The gameplay is about average and the ending is well, a little anticlimactic. Let’s hope the author improves and releases more work.

    Think Twice

Architecture: Very simple, blocky and uninspiring.

Layout: Not very well planned, some large fights are simple to bypass. Some areas are hard to believe and break the setting (Citadel).

Lighting: Fitting with the theme of the Citadel but rather bland.

Atmosphere: None that I picked up on.

Difficulty: Simplistic to experienced FPS gamers.

Other notes: There is no ending! You reach the end of the level but there is not so much as a text message to say you have reached the end. it’s not a bad attempt at a first map however and I look forward to seeing what the author can do with a little more experience under their belt.

Phillip and Tycell have said it all.

It’s kind of ok (the author told me to put it into garrys mod folder so I did). You wont lose much. Just download it if you want a garrys mod map to mess around with. Other than that, this is very simple.

As I said in the main post it doesn’t require Gmod to work.

    BTW Hoyy, no swearing please.

  6. Think Twice

It was okay. Actually, at first it was sort of fun(?) because I didn’t notice I had any weapon besides the gravity gun, so I thought I just had to run really fast to get to the first weapon.

Again, I hate having to take fall damage. I have to break the floor to descend? How do the Combine troops get around?

This map is for the people who want to play everything, and want something to do for 5-10 minutes.

  7. Maybe?

This is OK. A sequence of dark but wide corridors.
You start in the Suit with the GG and a fully loaded SMG
The Combat is at an easy pace but there’s enough to keep you engaged.
There’s a couple of Boss fights.
Tip: If you find the teleporter, do not use it else you might miss one of the Boss fights. We can’t be having that.

    Relaxing Combat; a refreshing change
