Content Statistics

4th June 2011

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

I am pleased to announce the availability of a new project. It’s called Content Statistics. It lists almost every statistic related to the content of the site. It doesn’t display any traffic to the site, just the content.

I would like to thank Adam Glaysher for all his hard work in getting it to work with my demands and my server.

It is updated manually and approximately every week.

I consider it 90% finished – we just need to get the comment totals working properly and add the Recommendation Images per timeframe. There are also a few tweaks to the design that I will make when I have time.

After that, we will slowly add new stats as I think of them. However, if there is any stat you think we are missing, please let me know.

It can be accessed via the Projects menu at the top of the page.

This post is temporary and will be deleted in amonth, please link to the page itself not this post.

    toooooooooo freakin BIG fonts 😀

  2. It’d be better to say “Reviews” than “Recommendations”. It sounds cooler and gives a better idea. Recommendations sounds a little different.

I found this really interesting, thanks.

  4. Those stats are pretty awesome. I’d love to see what the stats would be like if they had have been captured since the site went up.

    1. Well, the only ones that are new are the downloads. All the rest are from the beginning of the site.

Wow!, i’m honored to be betwen the top 10 commenters, and I also found those statistics really cool, is awsome how u can find out little details with those numbers, if life would have it’s own web statistics page god only knows how cool details we would found there!!, oh by the time I was at the 9th position as a comenter I had 188 comments, cool because I like number 88, and with this comment let’s make 189! 🙂 I love PP, i’m almost allways checking out what’s going on!

    1. I think your real total is 236, but for some reason the code we are using isn’t working quite right – we’ll fix it soon.
