  1. Phillip says Maybe

I’m struggling to find something good to say about this first map. The general feel is one of unpolished, but that’s not unusual since it is a first map but I do think it shows a lack of planning.

There’s no real sense to the layout and the hole near the end is strange. The ending is terrible.

Seems to me that mapper needs to plan more. A map is more than just a few rooms.

Still, he is pretty young and has plenty of time to improve and develop.

  2. Maybe?

Indeed this is a so called “First map” what we get here..

Considering that this was one of the first maps of the author I think it isn’t that bad actually. He had some nice ideas in it and that’s ok.

I don’t think I need to say much about the layout here as most rooms are created in a blocky style but therefore decorated well.

For 3-4 minutes a nice little distraction.

  3. Avoid It!

Methinks other reviews are being too kind!

If there had of been a readme file saying this is ” My first published map” I could have rated this more generously but as it stands, well done for producing something I can’t, but sorry it shouldn’t have been released.

    Think Twice

I really don’t want to be seen as the 3th way or alternative review, but to me this is perfect for only real fans, who doesn’t care to play beginers mods, and they love OpF, over all, here are not much to see at all, use less melee weapons, I really would love to have only the knife, and i’d preffer a milion times more the 50 mm machine gun instead of the plain and silly pistol.

Despite of the thousand lacks this map has I still think, OpF mods have a special charm on them, so I like them, and i’d love to se a nostalgia event about them here in PP.

  5. Avoid It!

It’s hard to say. I don’t really want to give this an “Avoid It!” because it’s not THAT bad, but a “Think Twice” is a little on the generous side, so I’ll stick with this rating. The mapping is not horrible and you could totally do worse, but is not amazing either. The map is also pretty short and fairly unremarkable, with no fights that stand out or anything like that. In a weird choice, the game gives you 3 melee weapons as if you really needed them.
