In this short map, you have to work your way through a variety of caves until you Meet Barney.
He seems to be held captive. Once released, he is supposed to open a door that you hope leads to freedom.

Headcrabs. Think you hate them now? Wait until after you’ve played this.
There are 5 Lambda symbols to “collect” and more headcrabs than you can shake a crowbar at.
Run, dodge, twist, jump, kill – do whatever you have to to find and reach those symbols.

Now that BeginningVille, MiddleVille and EndVille have been released, I thought it might be nice to look back at the competition.
I have to admit that after every competition I say to myself “This is the last one” and this one is no different.
Perhaps I set my hopes too high and dream of ten entries for each competition – each one a really interesting interpretation of the theme.

You arrive at one of the Black Mesa sectors by aircraft and due to technical problems you need to descend to the lower levels via ladders and elevators.
Part way down, the base is attacked and your only way out is back the way you came.
Can you reach the aircraft again and thence to freedom?

Starting in a small walled village outside of the city, you need to look for the “exit”.
You will encounter a variety of locations, enemies and puzzles.
Keep looking for those exits and hope that your final exit is worth the effort!
