Welcome to the fifth and final challenge from The Hammer Cup 2016, which has a Grand Prize of a NECA Gravity Gun, plus other prizes for second and third places.
This mod contains 10 entries, each with their own style and setting.
For this challenge, entrants were allowed to use ANY previous Ville theme, except one of the previous four from The Hammer Cup 2016.
As part of the HECU, you enter the Black Mesa Research Facility via an armoured personnel carrier.
It leaves you in a large warehouse-style building and your objective is nothing more than to stay alive and kill as many enemies as possible.

Author’s Notes: “In this custom single player level for Half-Life 2, Gordon Freeman has been sent to a city that has been taken over by Combine hostiles. He must eliminate all enemy threats and rescue the remaining civilians.
This map was produced for my Final Major Project at University. The look of the map was inspired by the modern architectural styles of the United Arab Emirates.”

The thought of using them as inspiration for maps is an interesting one.

This is both a playable level and an investigation into “how players absorb critical information”. Don’t expect anything too clinical because this is definitely a level where you will have to play to win.
