Why play as one character when you can play as three?

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half Life 1, 2 and 3

The last three novels I’ve read have had three stories running simultaneously that join towards the end of the book. Each story has a different main character. I think this may be interesting to use in an FPS game. I believe the important point would be to have three different stories that are clearly linked (maybe not at the beginning) not just three different characters/settings. Each story/character should provide some insight or forewarning about the other storylines.

Games with a conscience?

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half Life 1, 2 and 3

Imagine playing a game where you could adjust the level of you character’s conscience. I’m not exactly clear on what I’m trying to suggest but I thought I would open it up for discussion.

Imagine playing a game where you could adjust the level of you character’s conscience. Without getting to bogged down in a philosophical discussion we all have a conscience when playing a game but because we know the game is not real the power of this conscience is almost worthless. Admittedly the chance to utilise our conscience in games are small but anyway.

Scylla

Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Gordon is forced to venture through a dilapidated, hostile environment in order to clear the tram line of an alien infestation.

Offering approximately 15-30 minutes of gameplay, Scylla takes the player through a winding environment full of deadly hazards and enemies. Your performance may alter parts of the level as you progress. Be sure to watch out for special NPCs; not all are obvious.

What The Headcrab! Episode 19

Hello and welcome to What The Headcrab! Episode 19.

Slightly behind schedule but still packed with plenty of news and updates.

As always, there’s a giveaway courtesy of A A Ron from SteamContests.com and news from RTSL.

The Misc section returns but split into reddit and YouTube, at least for this episode. As with last week, no Half-Life Lore Trivia or YouTube channel spotlight – sorry.

Let’s go!
