Centrifuge for Hypergravity Testing

The player enters room and warning lights come on as well as loudspeaker system: “Warning, the centrifuge begins spinning in 30 seconds…Warning, the centrifuge begins spinning in 28 seconds…etc.
The player has to find either a way out (Not possible) or find somewhere safe to hide. The only place is inside the pod. Once inside the player’s HUD changes to display spin time remaining and current G’s.

Optional Idea: The player could control a small spot on the HUD, which is controlled via a stick in the pod (think fighter jets), that needs to be kept in the centre of circle. When the spot is outside of the circle for more than two seconds then the centrifuge stops. As the G’s increase then the vision of the player’s HUD gets smaller (just like real high G’s).

After the player exits the pod his balance is affected, meaning he is unable to shoot straight or stand up, so the level becomes one of avoidance rather than combat. The amount of this effect could be controlled via the difficulty setting of the game. The room itself would be quite large and the player would either die due to suffocation caused by winds in excess of 100mph or he simply gets smashed by the spinning centrifuge.
