  1. Phillip says Maybe

This is a puzzle mod that features one Metrocop and the ability to kill him, so I have included it. It’s short and not too hard. That said I had to cheat because I *really* couldn’t find the “B” shaped key. If you find it please tell me where!

    Visuals
It’s mostly inside small rooms and corridors, so that’s not to much chance to shine but it looks ok to me.

    Gameplay
There was one puzzle that was intersing and if the author took that and made it much larger then it could have been really fun. Most of the time it’s just looking for a key and finding a vent.

    Layout and Design
Nothing special but nothing bad either. A few different environemtns out together.

    Summary
It’s hard to really recommend this becasue the puzzles are simplistic and the action no-existant, but it’s definitely not the worst map you will play this year.

    5 Words Or Less Review

    Less keys, more fun Please.

  2. I do not like puzzle mods and now you’ve made me play this again!

    SPOILER
Room on the right past the cabinets. Smash all 3 crates for the “B” key. Might pay to leave the room and dither so that the scrap wood disappears.
Last room on the left, smash “cupboard, through the vent, smash crate in the room at the end.
    Tsk, tsk.

    1. I smashed every crate and tried to smash every cabinet too. I must be going blind!

    A nice distraction

  4. Maybe?

Was fun to play, I had to search a bit for the vent at the ceiling and I destroyed all chests before I found it, so I had to build myself a tower out of 2 screens, a barrel and a pc to get up there. Puzzles were as philip already said a bit boring.
The outdoor part was very nice looking but the indoor parts looked horrible except the canalisation.

  5. Maybe?

Arrgh. I hated the ball puzzle. After wandering around for 5-10 minutes at the beginning, I had to come here to find out that I needed to look up. (Geez I am slow about learning that.)

Beyond that, it’s a small map with simple puzzles. Good for 5-10 minutes of play.

I figure after that stupid ball puzzle you should have let us drive the airboat for longer. 🙂

    Puzzles puzzles puzzles!

I didn’t have any issues finding the puzzle pieces. And, I *loved* the ‘labyrinth’! That was probably the best part of the map though, otherwise a little short. But – to be continued!!

This is a nice map, tough felt very linear and also combat is abscent at 99.9% of the time, and well as I said I preffer miigga’s maps so much better if they have combat and the classic puzzles he used to put in all his works, here I liked that airboat last section and the appartments sight as background. well is a play it latter for sure.

  8. Maybe?

Migga’s first released HL2 map? Hmm.. not bad!
But as I’m not that much into puzzles I can’t give it a higher rating.
Also because of the lack of atmosphere, ambient sounds would be cool here.
Besides that, I’m not a fan of illogicality, however I won’t blame you now Migga 😉
What’s cool is the escape itself and some of the puzzles, but some doesn’t mean all.
The ball puzzle is nice, took some time to solve it.
What took more time is the build a tower to get into the vent…sigh!
At first I couldn’t found the vent, then I tried a single barrel..hmm.
Finally found out that even the larger thing isn’t enough to reach it, it felt like:
“what?? I can even smell the headcrabs!” 😉
So I needed to build a higher tower 😛 That was some sort of silly – but necessary..

In conclusion, it’s a short puzzlemap only, no combat at all.
    Playing part 2 now 😛

  9. Maybe?

This is a nice map. It’s noncombative like Cool Forest Walk (there’s one Metrocop in the ending though). It’s not quite as good as that map though. It looks nice, especially the part right before the end but the puzzles are really easy. There’s one really cool one involving a ball and a maze towards the end. I’m not sure what to say about this one. It’s alright but not great like Cool Gluon. Play it if you want, I’m not sure I can really recommend it since it’s so unmemorable.

  10. I didn’t find the second key either, even after reading here where it should be. However I was watching the console, which showed something like: ‘ignoring impossible position for entity puzzlekey2′.
So there was no key, due to a programming error, or bug. I don’t know why some other people could take it. But I had to cheat.
Otherwise, it was a typical map for this author, so a good puzzlemap.

  11. Maybe?

This map wasn’t bad at all, but it wasn’t one of the best I’ve played either. The mapping was pretty blocky and just OK. There is no combat, so many people may be disappointed from this. Also, the puzzles weren’t that bad, but the last one was really annoying. Overall, this map isn’t anything special. Let’s see if its continuation is better…

  12. Maybe?

    Puzzles if that’s your thing.
