PTSD mod takes place in the mind of.. well someone with PTSD, experience memories, nightmares, memes and all sorts of crazy stuff.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Gordon is forced to venture through a dilapidated, hostile environment in order to clear the tram line of an alien infestation.
Offering approximately 15-30 minutes of gameplay, Scylla takes the player through a winding environment full of deadly hazards and enemies. Your performance may alter parts of the level as you progress. Be sure to watch out for special NPCs; not all are obvious.
“The end of the war for City 24 is drawing near. Most of the streets are taken over by the Resistance but the heart of the city is impenetrable for the rebels, a massive Combine stronghold surrounded by tall steel walls.
If the siege isn’t quick enough, a large reinforcement will arrive to aid the besieged and can possibly even take back the city. Fortunately, a hidden Combine depot was found deep underground near the waterworks facility that is directly connected to the stronghold.
You are a part of the strike team tasked with capturing the vital depot. You were ambushed by the Combine forces, leaving you the sole survivor. Now it’s up to you, and only you, to finish the mission or perish in the uneven struggle.”
Gordon Freeman finds himself on the sea shore with a terrible hangover.
He is surrounded by empty beer bottles a few Headcrab corpses and a bicycle.
Does not remember anything about how he got there or what happened there and the night before.
Sets off to find out and as usual gets into a bunch of “fun” activities along the way.
July the fourteenth, 1883: Being rather rudely awakened after a night of drunken revelry; Half-Rats is thrust into a rather dire situation.
Utter calamity has erupted in the streets outside of the general store which he calls home – calamity of the most unnatural and horrific kind, that is.

This mod continues the story where Half-Life 2 finished and offers one possible scenario.
After the big explosion you fall to the ground and are very badly injured.
Some people find you and take you home to a small village outside the city where the citadel was built.
After 3 months you’re strong again and want to fight on.
I have added this to the frontpage because there has been a patch released that addresses issues that have been casuing this mod to crash. I have also been live streaming it. – Phillip
We have become very accustomed to playing maps and mods on one level.
That’s not to say that some maps don’t include more Z-axis gameplay, but in general it’s something that could be used to more and better effect.
This mapping challenge is all about having the player move up and down in a realistic way.
Of course, that doesn’t mean they can ONLY move up and down, but the idea of vertical gameplay or movement should be the central theme of each entry.
Starting underground, you suddenly find yourself out in the open with a lot Combine soldiers attacking you.
Only smart thinking and quick reflexes will save you.
Dispatch the soldiers and work your way through the prison to…
Well, let’s just say that a few friends could be waiting to help you.
