“The story is based on the assumption that there might be several secret entrances to the Black Mesa Facility. You are a complete stranger to this as you wander around trying to find help after a car accident (this is at the same time as Gordon Freeman tries to escape from the complex). Unfortunately you run up against some marines sent to guard one of these entrances. It seems that the only way to get out of this terrible mess is to fight the grunts…..”
A week or so ago I saw a news report about some server company advertising products in Counter-Strike: Source. I can’t find the article now but it said that Valve were not too happy about it, as the agreement specifically disallows it.

You are Gordon Freeman. You have accepted work from the mysterious G-Man. You thought he was interested in giving you work as a special agent, to go on secret missions and save the world! Instead, he assigns you to an office, to work through mounds of paperwork.
A top secret splinter group weapon research facility lies underground below the warehouse complex. You must fight your way through the warehouse complex and into the underground facility to collect evidence that they are creating a weapon 10,000 times more powerfull than a nuclear warhead.
“What a party, eh! Those barneys sure know how to throw one, and the antics of that professor, what was his name? The one with the moustache?
Ah who cares, anyways, hell of a party, and then some. Of course, most of it lies quite dead in your memory, as you blacked out somewhere halfway, a short while after someone brought in some home made drinks, created in his lab while the supervisor wasn’t looking, then kept running under pretense of biological experiments! Applejack, that’s for sure!
Starting tomorrow, Monday 27th June 2011, I willing be giving away one game from the Half-Life series (excluding Portal 1 and 2) everyday.
As usual, there will be a Half-Life trivia question to filter the unworthy! Of course, you, the reader, will probably already own these games, but as we know gamers are generous people and I am sure you know somebody who would love to play them.
All games have been kindly donated by Wozzle, a regular PP commenter – thanks Wozzle!
If you have any games you wish to donate to my giveaways, please contact me.
